letting chickens out in the morning

Letting chickens out - thanks to all you early risers about advice when to let chickens out in the morning. I think I will have to learn to adapt to the chickens and they will have to learn to adapt to my lifestyle. I just couldn't face 7.00am every morning. I did that for too many years and now don't need to. Thanks again.

Welcome!!! I agree with JLS they will become accustomed to your routine. Mine are definetely out earlier in the summer, just because it is warmer and light early. But in the winter it is usually 8-9am and they get locked up before it gets too dark. Usually by 5pm here. Just make sure they do have food and water in the coop.
