So I've had my guineas for a while now, since July, and they're pretty imprinted on the area. However, they're living in my new nearly complete hoop coop, one that's intended to house all my birds this winter, and I need to finish it. All I have left to do is the floor, but to do it I'm going to need to boot them out. They've had since July to imprint on my area, and they've been in the coop now for four weeks straight. What are the chances that they'll successfully return to the coop now if I let them out? Unfortunately letting part of the flock out and keeping some in to draw them back isn't an option in this case - they all have to be out for me to finish up.
