That's why I chose electric fencing. I'm not out to kill, or harm the wildlife in a major way. I just want them to leave my chickens alone. This way, I've accomplished both protecting my chickens, and not hurting the wildlife in any major way.
 
Quail: 1 Raccoons: 1

I accidently left one of my doors cracked open and I had a quail get out the other afternoon. I didn't catch him so I was planning to catch him in the morning since they always come back to the pen. That was IF he survived the night.... and after watching this video I'm guessing he didn't.

Got the duke traps ordered....

Decided to set up my live trap while waiting on the dog proofs. Checked this morning and found this guy in it. They can't resist a honeybun....
