UPDATE.....

I got the nest box, human door and the roof finished!!! Hopefully within the next couple of days I can get all the openings covered with the hardware cloth and I can move the chicks out of the brooder and into the coop.

I've been working on the coop more. I was able to get the poop board built and the roosts done. Now I just need to get the pop door finished and paint! Here are a couple of pics of the Roosts and poop board.

Are those ramp cleats made from door threshold gaskets?
Brilliant!

Bottom of ramp needs to be propped up higher tho, way too steep.

Lol yes they are. I didn't have any small pieces of wood and so we had saved all the pieces of scrap etc when we had our front house door replaced. So I was looking in the pile of all that door stuff and saw that and figured it would work. And yeah I need to find a few more bricks or something to get it higher so it's not so steep.

On the Laying boxes, I would put something that over hangs the sides more. I have something that looks like that on my coop, no over hang, and water gets in when it rains. Even just 2 inches over hang makes a difference.

That coop is just gorgeous with those colors. I agree about the ramp though.
