Hope i posted this in the right place? I have just ordered 12 Araucana LF hatching eggs I have a bantam Araucana so if i put a LF roo over my bantam would i get a mix of chicks or end up with all LF/bantam..?
can anyone help?

Are you asking if they would all be either LF or bantam? If so, then no, they will all be a size in between the sizes of their parents. If you are wanting pure/show-quality birds, you'll be better off not crossing LF and bantams, although if you're just wanting pets/backyard layers, go ahead

You can cross them no problem. You will get smaller birds than large fowl and larger than bantam. The araucana is a relatively small breed anyway. Don't worry about show quality. Reality is that about 1 in 1000 is show quality. To be show quality there are lots of things to take into account besides size.

The araucana is such a difficult breed to find, raise, breed that you should definately use what you have if you want to.
