I desperately need to clear space so that my remaining birds can grow their tails out safely; these birds are not culls!
The whites are all recovering from a fall moult, however, which will be the best time to ship them before their feathers get too long and break in transit. This was their first moult, and none of them did so fully. Despite the dirt, you can see the retained saddles on some of the birds vs the new growth.
All are in serious blood feather and have had extraordinary tails and saddles. The whites are all 2 years old, and all show some level of (healed) frostbite damage to their combs. The ginger dun is 2018 mid summer hatch and does not have frostbite damage (yet).
Bird will be dusted for mites, nails clipped, and feathers cleaned and oiled prior to shipping. Shipping ranges from 60-80$ depending on distance from zip 38549.
Photos labeled CURRENT were taken today. Photos labeled REFERENCE are either of their father at 1, or them at 1, as labeled.
Bloodlines, in detail and per bird, are available to interested parties.
I am willing to sell as a pair, but they'd have to ship separately to prevent damage to the blood feathers. Or, you're welcome to pick up in person. In person pick ups usually get offered free extra longtail birds, if desired, from the free range flock.
$50 each, plus shipping/box (if required). Add $25 and another shipping fee for a hen. If you choose to ship them together, I'll consider it, but you'll need to accept and understand the risks, which I'll provide in detail.
Please provide me the letter of the bird (as labeled below photos) you are interested in with any inquiries. Email me at [email protected] for fastest response.
