Yes Charlie Has Them, But You'd Have To Pry Them From His Cold Dead Fingers (jk Charlie!!!) He Is Working On Building Breeding Stock I Beleieve And Hopefully He'll Be Able To Provide With Some Early Next Summer????

The Best Place To Find Rare Items Like Montezumas Would Be To Watch The Egg Bid Auctions. I Occaisionally See Them There And They Are As Crystal Stated Worth A Mint!!! My Understanding Is That They Can Be Quite Hard To Raise As Well, Thus Adding To The Gamble Of Buying Them!

Maybe next season for eggs, just bought another trio of them..

Working on Building them some different type of pens to house them in instead of a plain old 4x8 & 4x10 hutch styles that are above the soil about 30",

Want them to get down close to the ground on one end of the pen and have grass and brush growing up through the mesh, but them not being able to get onto the soil and then have the pens somewhat elevated on the other end..will post pic's of the pen when i figure out what I'm doing..

I'm not an engineer but something like this

thats a lot of money. i should have enough for bout 2 dozen coming spring which is along time. ill just have to stick with my bobwhites and buttons for now

Yup i used to say that to about the $$$..

but we only go around once in this world and so many choices to be made(cars, ATVs, motorcycles, tractors etc) for me i like quail so i have a few of them.. ...we each make our choices.

As soon as i seen mearns quail a few years ago i thought boy id love to have a chance at raising some.. and so that choice/dream came true.. they will be a challenge for sure..
