LG....need a way to control the temp better

What I do (if i dont have a turner) is I put in a water bottle with water in it and close it. maybe more than one. i just began doing this after another BYCer told me about it. My temps went from a 4 degree fluctuation to a 1.5 degree fluctuation!!

i put a computer fan in mine seems to have helped it alot ive also got the egg turner i used my old lg cell phone charger to run the fan it works good that way

We put ours in a box plus put a fan in it. Also keep it in the corner out of drafts. When I open it, I open it through the windows, not the whole top.( Yes, I get burned slightly from touching the element.)
I found when turning off the turner for lockdown, it takes a wee bit temp adjustment to compensate for the lack of fan motor heat.
Oh, and we also added foam insulation between the two halves.
When I had it running for two months straight this spring ( with a hatcher for lockdown), I didn't touch the dial in weeks. There was some fluctuation, but not more than normal chicken!
