I use the LG still air for both incubator and hatcher. I have 2. They work fine, you just have to baby them a little. First, get a dimmer switch knob from the hardware store and put it on your temp control. Makes it much easier to adjust! Make sure the temp is stable in the room its in. If the temp still fluctuates a lot, wrap a towel around the outside of it. (I do this at night when I lower my thermostat in the house). Make sure you have a reliable thermometer (not the one that came with it...throw that out!). Use a few wet sponges for extra humidity (not a bowl of water a chick could drown in!) Oh, and get some of that rubber shelf liner they sell at walmart or the dollar store for on top of the metal grid thingy. Its so much easier to just roll it up and throw out all the hatch gunk at the end!
