Are... You familiar with what the Third Impact is in reference to?

https://evangelion.fandom.com/wiki/Third_Impact

It's a fictional event from a popular japanese show that basically was a giant nuclear explosion created by prehistoric aliens that nearly killed all life on earth. It's notable for the animation sequences of it having red and orange hazy backgrounds and color pallets as literally all matter on earth disintegrates.

I will say, it's very sad. But I think we'd be all having a very different experience if it was Third Impact bad. :p
Yes, we would. But, I would be gone, disintegrated into nothing, not even ashes.

*pushes up nerd glasses* Well ACTUALLY.....
All of humanity and all matter in the world basically merges into one super consciousness, so you would still have awareness, just not as an individual, you would only have awareness as the whole. And you would still remember everything that ever happened to you but also everything that happened to everyone.

That show was weird. I swear the guy who wrote it was on acid or something.

My new favorite quote!!!

(I am going back to review the original show. If anyone is most entitled to fear nuclear explosions, it would be the Japanese.)

Agreed. I remember watching a documentary about the bombs and how some soldiers were watching a top secret test firing of one. And they all had to turn away and close their eyes so they weren't blinded by the flash. And when the bomb went off they all got literal x-ray vision and could see the bones of the person in front of them through their eye lids.

That's pretty spooky.

I read an article about a bunch of people that were killed in nucular power plants, one guy, it is unclear if it was a multiple homicide / suicide or if it was an accident, the reason it is unclear is that he had just found out his woman (can't remember if wife or gf) was cheating with one of the guys he worked with and that guy was also one of the ones that got killed. It took them a while to find his body because a rod came out of the top of the cylendar and spiked him to the ceiling. They thought for a long time he had been vaporized because they didn't see him anywhere.

Also, apparently I can't spell today and spell check isn't helping, so... sorry...

And then, sometimes spell checker makes it wrong even when you have it right!

I have Nankins, but spell checker thinks they are "mankind"!
Yeah, it is giving me possible corrections but none of them are right...

On a slightly related note, Plato was asked to define "man" he said that man is any featherless biped... so of course Diogenes showed up with a plucked chicken, yelled "behold! a man!" and left... so... if you pluck them, I guess your Nankins actually are mankind.... (btw, my spell checker says they are napkins)
