LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

So just ignore her?
This, exactly. But dang, it's hard to do. It is none of her business, you are exactly right about that.
There's another one who asks if I like a certain girl and I'll reply with "Like a friend."
Ask her if she likes someone she hangs out with.

Actually, that might not be the best thing to do. Then you're playing her game, which is sowing discord and pain.

Someone here on BYC had a tagline in their signature that said something like, "I am who I am. Your approval is not needed." That applies here.

I swear, there's a kid at my high school who thinks that I'm a satanist bc I'm gay??? Like??? Gurl???

She calls me "it." I am NOT an it???? Like there are ppl who go by those pronouns but not me! She's just a butthole.

She's super mean for no reason and is friends with a girl who used to be pan before she was scared out of identifying that way by this girl. I even asked her about it. It's none of her business who I am.

Why are people like this to people who are different? No one was supposed to know about my sexuality anyway sooooo it is DEFINITELY none of her beeswax but she doesn't care.

People like her. I call them headless barbies because their brain is in the wrong place.
Anyway, small rant. :p :rant
Hurt people hurt people. These kids that are being horrible to you probably feel horrible about themselves and they act out by being mean. They likely grew up in an intolerant home and have parents who are also bullies. The behavior these kids are displaying is learned. Try feeling sorry for them because they're so unhappy that they have to try and bring others down. Just don't let them win.

I agree with the others about ignoring the rude/hurtful behavior. The less reaction they get, the more likely they are to move on. It's the engagement that keeps them going. Usually if you act like you don't hear them, they'll move on to an easier target. If it becomes extreme, I would tell the school counselor.

Do you know what might be useful to lighten skin a bit? Not like ghostly white, jusr to even it out in a shade or so lighter. All I'm finding is costume paint or highlighter, but I thought highlighter was just for contouring
Use a Foundation color 3 or 4 times lighter than your own skin tone. Foundation can be found anywhere cosmetics are sold. Apply a couple coats. And wear dark clothing, dark clothes make your skin color look lighter than it is.

People can be cruel, :hugs kids can be the worst. It's not easy to be young and understand that your self worth has nothing to do with what people think of you, but what you think of yourself. Don't let them get into your head and allow them to make you be hard on yourself, we are all individuals and we have our own path in life. Kids and people that tease others lash out because they don't understand or are afraid. Just let them work out their drama by themselves, forgive them for their ignorance, move on and nurture your own journey. :hugs

I reacted with "Informative," because I don't ever wear makeup. (My makeup is Chapstick to keep my lips from drying out.) I just never learned how, and my sister set a horrible example with how she put hers on.

My mom wondered if sis had vision problems. Then she realized how TERRIBLE the lighting was in the bathroom my sister used in the morning.

When I got interested in photography, I learned just how important lighting is.

its not even been a day yet of having the little land shark and she has worked out how to climb out the puppy pen :th she is a lot calmer then Fanta! Which surprised me
Adorable! :love Although I think I see mischief in those eyes. Good luck with her!

The eyes and brain are easily tricked with proper lighting! My Father was heavy into Black and White photography because the contrasts between dark and light can create huge drama.

Thank you! She is dead today🤣 mischief is waiting until the battery has more charge
