There's one currently in the nesting box, which is how I discovered they were laying. The little screech she did at me was so adorable

I used to that when I had a pair of Rouens they had a 4 foot deep pond they spend the day in. I loaded the pond with varying sizes of different minnows and 4 to 6 inch trout.Gave the ducks feeder fish last night. It took them a few minutes to figure out they were treats.
Only going to be a once a month thing though
What other live fish can they eat?I used to that when I had a pair of Rouens they had a 4 foot deep pond they spend the day in. I loaded the pond with varying sizes of different minnows and 4 to 6 inch trout.
What about guppies or other common live bearers? In the future I'd love to have tanks of those again, but I'd need something to do with the fry that don't end up going elsewhereGenerally any minnows with a torpedo shaped body can be fed to ducks. But you have to consider your duck size to know the size of fish it can eat. The Rouens I had were large ducks so it was easy for them to eat a 6 inch fish.
If you want to culture your own supply of fish treats, find some mosquito fish at a fish store and breed them. There similar to guppies. You'll end up with hundreds of fish in a year. There very easy to care for. Female fish only get 2 inches long.
Hang in there, break is right around the corner!I can't wait for winter break. I'm so exhausted
