I went By Ava for a veryyyyy long time. Decided I hated it and i go by my Birth Name Avary now. I like it better. All of my siblings and I have gender neutral names (besides one of us). I like how Avary can be interpreted either way.

I like gender neutral names a lot as well.

I saw those many times on baby announcements. Also Emerald, Sapphire, Amethyst, Pearl.

And King. With the last name James.

I kind of like strange names. But at some point you are just torturing the child - like if you name them Lucifer. Where as if the child chooses it for themself, it is different. Or if you are me and grow up and name yourself after a vegetable.

I want to name my future dog Maerceci. Would I name a child such a weird name? naw.

I made a snail. "My" (I'm a nanny) child loves him, promptly named him Speedy, and zoomed him all over the kitchen while laughing maniacally. We even introduced it to the snails outside. Lol. The child says she needs me to crochet a hollyhock plant now so her snail can eat it.

I crocheted the stitches really tight and then stuffed them super full of stuffing! I was pretty thrilled it worked.
