LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

I know this is mostly for chickens but this is my pride and joy right now;

It's a bit hard to see on the middle one but these are harlequin rex rabbits, one step shy of my dream of tricolor rex rabbits. They were born today and I'm VERY excited for them. It's been like pulling teeth getting here.

They really are tiny and cute. Only time will tell how they shape up into adults - they're part of a litter of 11(!) babies with a first time mom so that's a little worrisome but three harlequins is really very nice to see and exciting. They are very hard to get where I live. Closest breeders are about a 3.5 hour drive one way.

@KikiDeAnime Aww! He's handsome though!

@Chickaritasowner The harlequin ones pictured will either be breeders or food (they are commercial type rabbits), not for sale as breeders or pets (because people buying "pets" often still try to breed and these are not the quality I want to be selling for breeding in such a rare color). The other 8? We'll have to see. A few of them came out REALLY tiny, and I'm not sure why. Those will probably be food or maybe pets marked with unregisterable ear tattoos unless they sprout up like weeds. Some of the bigger ones look to be otter colored or castor and they could be keepers depending on how they fill out and what sex they are. 🤔 I really need some more nice looking type-y does.
