Thats my point, DEAD FLIN's were NOT the ones responsible for bad things. Anit-Freedom Loving Anti Independent's (ALAI's) were guilty. There is a difference.

Why, in our own thread, do we have to convince people of the struggle of our past? That is not what this space is for. We're not talking about native americans. You tout freedom loving and open mindedness, but multiple comments of yours have been ignorant bordering offensive. You don't come to an lgbt thread and joke about YOUR GROUP being persecuted. Back then, they believed they were doing the right thing by ‘treating’ the ‘mental illness’ of LGBT+ people. They though they were being true to their god and the countries they were in. They though they were like you guys, so they said they were freedom loving and such.

And how come on an LGBT thread you are defending people that did bad things to LGBT people?

We are welcoming to all people, but when you come onto OUR THREAD and say YOUR GROUP OF THE MOST VALUED PEOPLE IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW are having problems, that is when we all kindly ask for you to either respect our struggles or leave.

It is important to have certain discussions, even if they make some uncomfortable. Lurking does not really help the people literally fighting to exist in their own space. Silence, at times, is the worst thing one can be.
