Not today indeedNope. Not today
Would you like me to give you several descriptions to help the disgust come back for meat? Not today indeed
Would you look at that, I DO have some self control left!
And yet I fear I may still eat meat![]()
No!!Would you like me to give you several descriptions to help the disgust come back for meat?
What about raising a few of an animal and sending them off to the butcher at the same time? When you get the packages back, you won't know who's whoNo!!
Besides, I was never disgusted by meat, just
Well you know the story
I'm currently trying to find a better balance, because I don't think strict veganism is great for me. Honestly part of me wishes I was confident enough to raise my own livestock, but I'd never be able to separate the emotional attachment from the animal I'd have to eat
True, but I'd have to really trust the person. Its something I'd consider one day, if not for me, then for my dogs etcWhat about raising a few of an animal and sending them off to the butcher at the same time? When you get the packages back, you won't know who's who
I say just get a bunch that all look the same. So like leghorns or Cornish X, or pink pigs (I dunno the breed, whatever Wilbur wS in the movie)True, but I'd have to really trust the person. Its something I'd consider one day, if not for me, then for my dogs etc
A big part about doing it myself though is following it through in a way that ensures its as humane as possible. Its not so much the slaughter I'd struggle with, it's the knowing the animal and knowing they're there... somewhere lol
I'd consider it if I could prevent myself from becoming emotionally invested in the individuals, though. So someday perhaps
That's a good point!I say just get a bunch that all look the same. So like leghorns or Cornish X, or pink pigs (I dunno the breed, whatever Wilbur wS in the movie)
ats why I suggested leghorns (and solid colored bird would probably work thoug)That's a good point!
That'd definitely make the process easier.
Not sure I'd start with Cornish X though, if I failed to dispatch them, I wouldn't want them to suffer. I'd have to get a dual purpose breed that I could sell if I was unable to finish the project
Wait you can't expect me to eat Wilburwhatever Wilbur wS in the movie
