I struggled for years about the whole Gay=Sin and external damnation and pain. I'm still not 100% comfortable when I go to church sometimes, just because it was so entrenched in my young min when we went regularly.

Reformed Yes, this is the sad part - but easy to understand that denominations are created by flawed man and their interpretation of the Bible.

The way the bible is written, EVERYONE should feel uncomfortable at times in church.

Ive thought a bit more about it, and I am not sure this would be the best place to share my theories with you. You have a very peaceful place here to enjoy each others company, and I'm afraid my idea would attract negative attention from both sides.

With that said, maybe by chance you'd be alright with me just joining the general chicken (and duck ) and gemstone (completely something new to me) here, and once you get to know me and, and I you, a bit - we could figure something else out in terms of me sharing.

Presbyterian? It's actually different in the States than in Canada. I don't know much about it, apart from the (no offense!) ones that celebrate when a gay soldier dies.

100% - about as anti-gay as one can humanly be. Anti everything actually. Not quite like that church in Kentucky (can't remember it, but they are very violent) but definetly not accepting. I believe in all the principals, but these parts of "non conventional" people are incorrectly biblically, and driven more by the insecurities of those who created the denomination.

I couldn't help myself. I just went to Wilco and bought the last 11 Turkens that they had. They need to clear some of their tanks for the next batch coming in so most of the chicks are $1.

I have no issues with you hanging out with us here, but personally prefer to keep religion out of it, unless it's the philosophical side of things. Others may have a different opinion.
