I don’t always have time to read 20 pages worth of posts. I know some people have that type of time on their hands and that’s awesome, but I unfortunately don’t.

I like to think that if someone starts a thread in a community they feel safe...in the RANDOM ramblings section, they can simply exist openly as themselves without bringing heat. You are not the first person who has devalued this thread, but representation is important. So is feeling like a valued part of a community of their peers. If someones sexual orientation is a "hot topic" for someone, THEY should reevaluate. Not the person being unapologetically themselves.

That being said I respect your opinion and do not feel that you were being mean in anyway. Just hoping to shed some light on why I think people start and participate in threads like this. They hurt no one, and offer a lot.

I’m not sure if this reply was directed at me, but I completely understand. I was replying because of what I read in the first few posts, but didn’t realize it was addressed already, so that was a my bad.

I agree people have the right to freely express themselves without being ostracized. I wasn’t saying a group like this shouldn’t be started. The more variety the more inclusion to feel welcomed in an awesome site like BYC.

I reread my post and noticed my reply wasn’t very specific/clear as to my stance of it all so I can see the confusion.

I’ll be going back and reading all posts little by little as time allows. I also barely realized this thread was started back in December!

AAahhhh don't tell! We also brainwash chcikens, then sell them so the gayness will wash off on ther new owners. One of our more genius and insidious plots.
