Big Gay Terminology
A-sexual/Ace = No sexual attraction to any gender
A-romantic/Aro = No romantic attraction to any gender
A-gender = Not gendered
AFAB = Assigned female at birth
AMAB = Assigned Male At Birth
ACAB = Assigned Cop At Birth (Ohoho, no, this one means something else that I'm not allowed to post.)
Bi = Attracted to both like/different genders, sometimes interpreted as ambivalent about gender. Usually interchangeable with pan.
Cis-Gender = Cis (from the opposite of trans, meaning same). Cis-gender just means Same-Gender, someone who is the gender they were assigned at birth.
Drag King/Drag Queen/Queen = Someone who dresses as or imitates exaggerated gender for show, but is typically not actually that gender
Genderfluid = Someone whose gender perception fluctuates over time
Gender non-conforming = Someone who does not conform to gender norms. This can even just be a butch woman or an effeminate man.
Genderqueer = a term similar to Non-binary for people who don't identify as male or female
Gay = A man attracted to other men
Intersex = Someone whose phenotype (physical body) does not conform to one sex or another. This includes true hermaphrodites, people with mixed chromosomes, women who grow beards, men with working mammaries, etc.
Lesbian = A woman attracted to other women
LGB,T,I,A,Q = Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Intersex, A-sexual,
Queer/Questioning (some people use A as Ally which is VERY frowned on)
LGBT+ = Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, + I'm too lazy to type out the rest (we get it, it's a lot for us too)
Pan = Attracted to any gender, sometimes interpreted as apathetic towards gender. Usually interchangeable with bi.
Transgender/Trans = Someone who is not the gender they were assigned at birth.
QUILTBAG = queer/questioning, unlabeled, intersex, lesbian, trans, two-spirit, bisexual, asexual, gay/genderqueer.
MtF = Male to Female transition
FtM = Female to Male transition
Queer = A common catchall for anyone in the LBGT+ community or people who don't fit the common terms, but also sometimes a slur. Use with caution.
Questioning = Someone who is not sure if they are part of the LGBT+ community or not.
Transitioning = The act of transitioning from publically presenting as one gender to another
Non-bianary = Neither male nor female

Poly/Poly-A/Polyamorous = Someone who has multiple consensual romantic relationships at once. NOT to be confused with Polygamy which is men having multiple wives, usually in a religious context.
