I will take pics in the morning before I sell it. I did not use a pattern. Crests are an egg~cellent idea.I must see!! And, perhaps you will share your pattern? Or where you got the pattern so I can buy it, too? Though, I need to crochet a crest on top...

Thank you. years of practice! How fun! You must be very skilled!
I'll find a pattern somewhere and add a crest. I plan to make one for the kid I take care of. She's obsessed with my duck, Thimbleberry to the point that she calls all ducks Thimbleberry.Even wild mallard drakes, "Nanny, look at those Thimbleberrys that just flew past!" Lol. Clearly she needs a crested pekin toy.
I would love pics when you finish! I think a pom pom crest would be egg~cellent. How fun! You must be very skilled!

I looked a few years ago and my findings seemed very, "rubber ducky style." I was hoping for something a little more real duck. But the kid is 4 so she'd likely be ok with anything! I'll have a look again, I feel inspired! Thank you!Thank you. years of practice!
I bet she would love that. There is lots of free crochet duck patterns online.![]()
Nice!!! Did you make Sichuan style,Cantonese style or America style mapo tofu?i made mapo tofu for our lunch. Does that count. We often make Asian cuisine. We are 6, so going out gets really expensive really fast. We are doing pan cut for dinner. Costco vanilla ice ream is in freezer. It’s interesting how we are all eating similar meals today.
Not sure. It from a Chinese YouTube videographer. Soft tofu, toasted red Sichuan peppercorns that I ground, ginger, garlic, broad bean chili paste, peanut oil, fermented black beans and just a bit of crisp minced pork, all very slightly thickened with arrowroot. We put it over sweet rice. I use Chinese cooking techniques in a very well loved wok. Sometimes we add in oyster sauce as I fry the garlic, ginger, chili paste and black beans. Sometimes not. Depends on mood.Nice!!! Did you make Sichuan style,Cantonese style or America style mapo tofu?
All four of ours are teenagers...and eat like it, too. I’ve had to learn to cook Asian dishes. I’m getting pretty good at it. My favorite dish is still stir fried bamboo shoots with sliced pork belly with fish sauce And birds eye pepper, Or black bean beef with red bell peppers, or pho, or...well most all of itWe are 6 also and constantly trying to feed everyone on a budget. Our kids eat constantly. It’s like they’re training olympians or something.
Pizza and ice cream is a match made in heaven!
