I think it's about where we "feel" each item:

Gender identity is how we identify ourselves in our minds (I identify as a woman who happens to have also been assigned female at birth, but our brains don't always match what the doctor who delivered us, or our chromosomes, say)

Gender expression is how we express our identity through appearance (that's why the greens dots are surrounding the unicorn head-to-toe)

Then there's what the doctor assigned us at birth and/or chromosomal makeup (which is where it is for obvious reasons, I think)

And physical/emotional attraction are self-explanatory.

Is that helpful or did I make it worse?

Or are you referring to the black dots on each line?

I think it was just to show an example of how people can fall on a spectrum within each category. Humans are complex and there's not really a "binary" for any of it.

I am sorry you went through that but I hope retirement is treating you well! I don't miss trying to force myself to work, but I do still sometimes get in the negative mindset of feeling "useless" for not earning much money myself.

I hope so too! I am tentatively looking at next year, but it might not be the right time yet... who knows, but I'll have them again eventually! They are wonderful lil guys, very easy keepers and grow so fast. Love em.

Jon never showed up so I was by myself from 10am to 11am and had to self teach myself how to make Blizzards.

Awww....what a beautiful boy! ❤ Kai looks like a real sweetheart. Dogs really do become family members, they are everything to our existence!! Thanks for sharing him!!

Thank you! And I agree, dogs become family easily. I can't imagine my life without at least one dog, at this point. Kai is my shadow, he always wants to be involved, and loves to help out. Or think he's helping. I try to give him tasks so he feels included, but sometimes he gets creative in how he helps, like biting the water as it comes out the watering can. I'm also not allowed to go to the bathroom by myself, I suppose just in case an axe murderer bursts into the house while I'm on the toilet and at my most vulnerable. Can't complain though, he gives good hugs.

Toby is adorable! I want to eat his cute little face. In a very normal way, of course. Or maybe I could settle for a little smooch on his head. Maybe.

Yes! She is a blue fawn call duck (at least I think it's blue fawn). I've got 2 calls, the other is white. They live up to the name lol, they make twice as much noise as all my other ducks combined. I love them all the same, but it sometimes still surprises me how much volume can come out of such a tiny duck. The 2 of them are partners in crime alongside my miniature silver appleyard. Who is a lot quieter, and I suppose is in charge of stealth missions.

I've always had pets around me all my life, dogs, cats, birds, etc... I too can't imagine living without some creature wandering the house, or sleeping in the bed with me! I can't sleep unless the dog is jammed up against me at night.

I will give Toby a smooch for you! Oh and watch out for those axe murderers hiding behind the toilet, tell Kai not to take any dog biscuits from strangers in the bathroom.
