Yup, that’s a really cool looking one! Can’t wait to get it into a terracotta pot this year!
Yeah, same here! I took photos of two of the most prominent blooms, but another euphorbia is also forming its buds.

How many did you lose this year? The count here is one or two, though both can still be saved. I’ll need to chop one, and repot the other in a much smaller pot (it’s the stapelia that was struggling).

I don’t believe you about the lithops until I see it !

I love the terracotta pots for my plants too. My Alien Plant, (Monanthes polyphylla) has out grown her little pot. I found the perfect terracotta pot the other day for it, it's 4" wide but only about 2" tall! These plants grow well in an inch of soil and prefer very low pots. So next time she needs water, I will repot and post a pic here!

Glad to hear you didn't lose too many over the winter! Winters make me nervous for my plants. I only have one that looks a bit off, but I think it's save-able. The rest did extremely well and appear to be waking up now. I'm quite happy with them and every winter I learn more about how to care for each of them. Some went nearly all winter without water, others wrinkled and needed a drink every 5 weeks or so, but they did well.

It's dark yet here this morning, I will get a photo of the Lithops when the sun comes up.

I’m still undecided about them (terracotta pots, that is). They look ten times better, but in terms of difference from the plastic pots, not sure.
Certainly better for the environment though.

@fluffycrow Various photos of the crew. 5 Lithops, some in the process of splitting, last year they took till early summer to all fully split, so I expect the same for this year.

They all look wonderful! So very healthy. Ah, that monanthes is always so beautiful !

What are you hoping to add this year? A melocactus would go wonderfully with the rest, I think. I remember you wanted one, hope that still stands

Thanks Fluffy! Yes I do want a Melocactus too! I love their furry turbans. Will you be able to find one locally? I will probably have to order one on line. Along with various others I desperately have to have.
