LGD's for Sale??

I would look out on Craigslist.
That's what I did and I found a good add so it seemed. Conditions were less then minimal. Not to knock the nice person who I bought her from. I think she is over ran with animals, most would not have taken this pup home. I am a sucker, and even after we left had a lunch and talked about it, we still went in got her, all I can say is buyer beware. We take good care of our animals, It isn't that she didn't have the care just not the right grooming thing going on, She was very dirty, okay accept that, outdoor dog, but then the fly bits on the ear and the fleas oh my. Oh yeah the big think is she is 4 1/2 months and NEVER had a collar or never was lead. It was like trying to get a donkey to move. But as soon as you let the leash go she followed, until she stepped on the leash and was frozen and could not move until we moved her foot,

We gave her a flea spray and wash her good with Dawn original, according to a groomer I called, it kills fleas. A lot would say it was a foolish purchase. I have research the breed and know everything book wise there is to know, now comes the real learning that comes from hands on. The story of Zoey continues.

Congratulations on your new dog although I'm sorry about her condition. Now the fun starts! You've got a puppy at the worst of the "terrible twos" so if you can get through this stage, you'll probably have a great dog but be prepared for her to frustrate you time and time again.

I am no expert having only had mine 3 weeks but have several friends with LGD's who have shared some of their experiences with me.
