My chickens are covered in slow moving, small but not tiny, brown white lice. I don't have any lice treatments specially for chickens right now as they are hard to find where I am from. I do however have a bottle of dog and cat flea spray which I will send a picture of. The spray contains dimethicone, which suffocates external pests. I'm worried if it will cause any harm to my chickens. I haven't found much online about it so I'm kinda desperate here. I don't want them to suffer, please help

I cannot find any info on the safe use of dimethicone for chickens. It sounds fairly safe and effective for use in head lice in humans, but I cannot recommend it or give a dosage. Your local vet might have an opinion. Can you get permethrin, pyrethrins, or spinosad where you live?
