Lice/Mite Treatment eating eggs??

Thanks for the input everyone!! I am in Canada and where I live it's tough to find any types of medications or treatments for chickens unless I feel like dishing out $300+ for a vet, who doesnt even typically treat poultry, to come inspect my flock then pay more for meds. I had a jug of cattle ivermectin anyways so decided to do that. The "Dr. Doom" stuff says it's for poultry but while reading instructions it sounds more like it's for killing the mites in the coop, not so much for on the birds themselves says just spray over them, since I had one hen die and another who isnt looking so good I wanted to use something I know will work.

It seems so ridiculous to me that we seemingly have so few options here! I feel your pain

I know, I agree. I feel like we end up using more unsafe methods this way, it's all mixed information on the internet I'm going by here, if I could just go purchase what I need without a prescription I'd feel so much better, just can't justify that vet bill.
