I know this is for poultry, but my rats have bugs, would it be safe for them to use?

Can you type out the ingredients of that product?

Your best bet would be to take them to a vet that deals with rats. Rats are very sensitive to many chemicals and there are a variety of bugs that can be causing these issues. It can be important to diagnose what is causing issues before treatment.

Yes, I know. Only bad part is I don't have any money to do so. I'm waiting to meet up with my friend and just want to help anyway I possibly can in the mean time.

I'm actually sitting in a small animal exotics medicine class right now, and we haven't gotten to the part about mice and rats. I will ask if he doesn't bring it up during the lecture.

Alright, I'm having toruble finding any information saying that Potassium sorbate is safe for rats so I don't feel comfortable telling you to use that product. However, I was told that for flea/lice/mite treatment in rats, the flea powder for kittens is safe to use. That is OTC and should be easy to get ahold of.

Yeah I'm just broke as a joke right now.
