Lice, please help my girls

I think I am going to try the pillowcase method for dusting the birds. As well, is the sevin good for all the creepy crawlies, as I still have no idea what the heck the bugs were on my bird, I've ruled out the mites, I think lice, but, ack, don't know that either.

these are not my pics, but they are good ones I found on a search the light colored bug may have been a louse

the mites are darker and smaller, and they are easily seen at night after the chicken is roosting, you would need a flashlight after dark

I would dust the chickens and their bedding, nestboxes, and perch.

Then after three weeks and after the second application, I would change bedding.

Make sure you dust them again after 10 days. The lice eggs should have hatched by then, and you will want to break the cycle.
