Lice Treatment for Chickens in Canada

Hi Everyone!
My flock has lice and i'm wondering what the best treatment is. I live in Ontario Canada so there are less options out there.
I have used Doktor Doom Lice spray in the past but there are no longer any retail locations open nearby to buy it. The only way to get it is on an online store which requires you to have a farm folio license or something similar, which I don't have.
I currently have DE but know there are mixed feelings about it.
Does anyone have suggestions on what I can get to treat my flock?

I also have a peahen that needs to be treated for lice and don't know what to use.

You might want to check with your vet’s office. They may have a suggestion, such as sulfur powder in the coop, and use of a human lice treatment. Do your chickens has a dust bath area and use it? Fluralaner (Exzolt) has been approved for chickens and treatment of poultry mites, but it is a prescription product that requires a very minute dose in the water for 2 days, 10 days apart. I have treated lice in the past and Sevin Dust which is not approved for poultry, did not even kill them. I removed and watched a clump of feathers and lice for several hours, and they were still moving around. Permethrin dust or spray does work, but is not available in Canada or other some other countries.

I would doubt that sevin dust is even available there, if it did work anymore. Many products are nit as effective as they once were due to overuse. Ivermectin is one of those that was used so much to treat mites, that it has lost some effectiveness in treating worms. Your local vet probably has more information about products that are effective or available. I am always full of questions about chickens when I bring in a dog or cat to the vet for routine care.
