LICE?

I spent 10 hrs today gutting my coop, sand, shavings & all. Down to concrete. Power sprayed w bleach water. Put all new back in. I've been seeing these tiny, slow moving bugs on my glass deck table & on my arm sometimes outside. My Banty roo gets up on the table. I thought we had poultry lice, although I haven't found any in birds - 4 2 month old pullets & the little roo. I just used straight vinegar & cleaned the table THREE TIMES. A few minutes later I killed nine of these **** things on the table top ! I'm in Tn. In the city. Not even on a farm ! Can anyone tell me what this is? The lighter is there for comparison.

They smash the minute I touch them. Very soft

Do they jump or crawl? Is anyone itching or losing feathers?

They crawl pretty slow. That's it. I can see tiny legs. I really don't see ANYTHING in the birds abnormal. I assumed they were from the rooster, but now I don't think so. Any ideas?

Read up on it. Its great to treat lice. Make sure to get the food grade kind. non food grade I have heard kills chickens.

If you google "bird lice" you can see what they look like. I would think you'd see them itching. But I'm a total newbie, so don't know for sure.

I have a huge bag of it. I heard the same. I mix it w the sand on the floor. I sprinkled 7dust on a few of them, they were not affected - WEIRD

Those aren't lice... lice have elongated bodies and are a bit bigger than than...

After looking at some u-tube, I don't think they're lice either. And there were some on my table again this morning ! So what can I do about them???!!!!
