ok finally found something with permethrin in it an hour away from home but went and bought it....i power washed coop and nesting boxes then let air dry and then sprayed everything cracks and nooks all the walls , floor and ceiling with the permethrin spray i found it was for cattle and sheep but the man at the store said would be safe for chickens as he has used himself on chickens. This evening all 22 hens and 3 roosters were treated back of neck, under wings and vent area....here's hoping my girls are feeling better.

How is your flock doing? I am wanting to treat mine as well but curious if it worked well for you or not? TIA!

My chickens are doing great feathers are growing back in and egg production is almost back to normal

That is great to hear! I think I might be having a mite/lice problem as well. I'm wanting to treat my coop and birds. I just wasn't exactly sure on what I should use so I thought I'd see if that helped yours! Thanks
