Thank you all! The Liege and a number of Orpington bantams go to the hatcher next Sunday. I've never set bantams to hatch with standard before.. And some of the Liege eggs are HUGE. I've had chickens whenever I could in my 60 yrs., primarily free range-or in a fenced back yard, but it's been over 4yrs since I've been able to have any. I went from 5 acres to 1/3 acre in town, bet folks here are pretty animal friendly. Only restriction I'm told is pigs.. and crowing roosters that garner complaints. I'm Shure with these guys I would "garner" a few. I had truly missed having my chickies, and thank you for your well wishes!
