Well... Yesterday was great. I met his family, about 15 people were at the cookout. Met his mom and dad, of course, his brother and SO, one of his grandmas and servral cousins. They were all so easy to get along with and seemed like simple country folk. His mom is a super sweetie, and his dad was a bit quieter than I expected, but still great. The best part? His family hunts!

There really wasn't anyone I didn't (or couldn't) get along with. It was pretty amazing, all in all. We played bocce ball (which I had never heard of) and had a really great time.

Thanks to everyone for all the advice and moral support.....

And by the way, I'm not one to kiss and tell, but yea, it's official
