Life Happens- Mom's Health, My Health, and the man... **Update Pg 48**

Yep, he told all his buddies! They all went back to the apartment afterwards and I went home because I had class the next day.

Definitely frustrating though!

I have WHAT in my yard? :

Wait, wait, wait! He TOLD everyone he held your hand when you weren't around????

Ugh! Sometimes you just want to smack men upside the head (except maybe for PC and Boyd

) Girl, he just laid claim to you. He checked to see how people would react - you need to get from your girlfriend how people did react - and he marked his territory.

Sorry, guys it is SO irritating when guys do that. He says hey everyone this one is mine so leave it alone, but eh, maybe I won't actually claim it!

Well, yeahhhhhhh! Sumthin rong with that?

Well, today is his DB's b-day dinner, and we were supposed to be leaving town around 3 or 4. Well, it's 4 and I haven't even heard from him. I'm sitting in my car, in the target parking lot, simply because I figured I'm lookin' hot- I might as well go somewhere! On a positive note, I did get the laundry detergent and shampoo I needed

Nope. See, I've been the one to call or text 90% of the time. I've decided that he doesn't like to text, and that's fine. But I'm not making most of the effort most of the time. I don't want to be the crazy girlfriend. I figure if he wants to hear from me, he can get ahold of me. This was his deal, and he can call me if plans have changed. Call me a stubborn 'ol biddy.

Yeah I hear ya on that one. I feel that way sometimes too. It's never fun to be the one to put all the effort into getting together!

It's still early though. I'm sure there's hope!

Play hard to get! Don't make yourself available at his every whim. We guys like a little challenge. (At this point in the game- very little for me.

OK? Didn't I catch reference earlier that this guy is a medic?? Did he work today??

My absolutely wonderful DH stood me up a few times, and boy did I get upset. But, I finally realized that he was telling the truth. A call goes bad, there is major call, any number of things can go wrong in their line of work and most of them preclude them having time to make calls at all. He also worked as a volunteer firefighter and same thing - if we love them for their commitment (and those uniforms!) we have to put up with the side effects.

Hope that is all it is!!!

Yep yep! Hubby is an EMT volunteer and yes he does get called out when we least expecting it! Once all said and done, during supper, we had a lively conversation what has happened!
