(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have 4 dogs, a cat, a parakeet, a bearded dragon, and 3 ducklings. We love the country life and enjoying the outdoors. We have vegetable gardens that has been quite the learning experience.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? We have known about BYC for several years since we had a flock before our current one. We are always looking into information and we always get a link for BYC when it comes to our farming questions. We joined so that we could access the info easier plus post when we need to

Just wanted to share one of our chickens. His name is Squatch (short for Sasquatch)... We bought Jersey Giant pullets that were sexed by the hatchery. Somehow this guy got sexed wrong, but we are so happy we got him. He is double the size of our sex links at 4 months old and is almost like a watchdog. Anything or anyone that comes in our yard is crowed about and he protects his ladies. He even breaks up food and places it in front of the ladies so they can eat their food easier. He's a real charmer...
