I think ( fingers crossed) that we will finally be done with our coop/run this weekend. It's been quite the long and infuriating experience and I'm surprised my husband and I haven't ended up in divorce court...hehe. It seems like every time I tell him about something I've learned here he scoffs at it, gives me a hard time, but eventually does it as I ask. Even yesterday I had to really put my foot down on having hardware cloth on the screen door in addition to the heavy gauge wire we already have on it. He thought the window screen would be enough. But I am satisfied that this coop/run will be Fort Knox. And I've learned how to do things like put tar paper and shingles on a roof, just in case I need to make a change in occupation at some point. Crossing our fingers for a successful completion. Congrats!
