I have 4 pullets (supposedly) from TSC that are around 4-5 weeks old, I think closer to 5, but I can’t be sure. The biggest, my light Brahma, has gotten pretty bold and jumps/pecks at me any time I put my hand in to change their food/water and clean out their brooder. I’m starting to wonder if she is really a he? I know this breed is tougher to sex until later one but I was hoping someone with more experience (this is my first year having chickens) could help me. We didn’t want any roosters so I’m hoping it’s not.

If i may ask what did your cockerel look like around this age? If you had any picture's that would be great im trying to sex mine
I have a lot of pictures!
This is him at around four weeks, when I was pretty sure he was a cockerel.

Then five weeks, if you compare him with the pullet in front, you can see the difference in the comb size.

And at six weeks it was clear as day :p

He’s currently my avatar, he turned into a gorgeous boy.

Cause mine i believe is at 5 weeks currently and was hatched on the 1syt of July. Im not entire sure as yhe chick has some pinkish but almost fully feathered from what i can see which i heard is common in hens for a breed that matures alot slower cause males already naturally feather out slower. So with mine im a little lost. Attached are some pictures i have i can always go take more if unclear but id love a couple point of views on this (Not the best pictures cause she/ he is very skittish but i feel lile its a girl because of other sources but id love peopls personal take caude i cant keep roos and already have one chick i know is so would hate to have 2

The comb is a little pink, but I’m leaning pullet for now. One thing I noticed with mine is that his feet were enormous. Brahmas do usually have bigger feet than other breeds, but his were definitely oversize. Yours is still a bit early, it’ll definitely become more obvious in the next few weeks :)

I noticed that mine does have a little bit of waddles going on like they're a little but red ish not sure if the pictures caught that but the chick is also near fully feathered out and gor tail feathers really early i know not always signs of females i just think that terms of size and feathering looks like girl and her comb is just a little pink so i believe still leaning girl. So does the comb/waddles look whatbyoud expect for a pullet at 5 weeks?

This was my Brahma pullet at roughly five weeks.

Yours has more red than my pullet, but not quite as much as my cockerel, it’s in between. You may just have to wait, but like I said, I’m leaning towards pullet.
