I'm afraid my Dixie Chicken that I nursed to health for the first week of her life is not a she but a HE! She chases the other birds around... never pecks at them. She also has a more pronounced wattles and a comb then the rest of the pullets (all different breeds) I have her age. She is 14 weeks old and no crowing so far, but i heard that doesn't startuntil 16 weeks or so. I can't have a rooster due to neighbors... I love this bird. I would really appreciate your advice!
Thanks!

I'm going to say that is a pullet because the tail feathers don't appear to have any sickles on them. She could be chasing the others because of dominance.

Is her wing okay?

I ran outside to examine her wing after I saw this... It is fine, she was resting in the highest roost. What about her wing has you worried, so I know what i'm looking for. I watched her wreak havoc all day, she was moving normally.. she is such a character. I named her Dixie because she has always been rowdy like a redneck... ( i say that with love because I'm from a long line of rednecks ;) ) She never pecks anyone, just looks like she gets a "bee in her bonnet" and tares around for awhile chasing everyone then is good again lol. Thanks for the advice!

Oh that's good. I was just wondering because chickens can easily break their wing feathers, or break the follicles causing them not to come in a correct way. It doesn't seem painful to the chickens (I've had 2 have that problem) Just making sure.
