Light Brahma

Dawww. So sweet.
They really are. I introduced them to two marans and two other brahmas I have. The top in that pecking order is a marans. She was the only one that actually bothered them. Which wouldn’t be the case if I introduced them to my main flock. Usually all the girls come over and have a go at the babies to show who is boss. Especially the lower on the pecking order ones. But the brahmas just kinda watched the babies do their thing. This breed is fast becoming my favorite breed.

Pretty sure we have a boy and a girl. Monster and Roz. They mostly stay in the baby coop unless I’m there to supervise. The two top hens love to chase them around to the point where they are so stressed. The hens even chase them into the baby coop. They’re relentless and the brahmas don’t try to fight with anyone. I expected a little push back from them, when I introduced my silkies that’s what happened, but they seem fine being on the bottom of the pecking order. For now anyway. Here’s the pictures. Sorry they’re dark. The sun would not cooperate. 😂
