We heard Georgie cluck for the first time today! Does that mean anything? Or is that just a general chicken noise?

I think your off on their age. They cluck about 12 weeks or after. That's what I remember from my babies last year.

Those are pullets for sure. Gosh, I sure hope mine grows up looking like yours! That's what we are aiming for with an all yellow chick when she came home with us.

My LB pullet has been clucking since about 7-8 weeks she sounds like a full grown hen. All the others still sound kinda like chicks

Also I agree that they are all females

Hmm. That's funny, I could have sworn it was a cluck. Maybe I'm wrong, though. We're pretty sure about the ages, because when we got them they were no more than 2-3 days old.


Whether it's clucking or not, it's hysterical to listen to!

By the way, what an adorable little bundle of fluff! She looks like she'll be a pretty girl! (or handsome boy! haha)

They grow so fast! We are keeping our light brahma whether it's a boy or girl. We bought Melody from the pullet bin, but will be Mango if a boy.

I have a Mango Rooster! Of course, I started out with 4 of them....Habanero, Peach, Honey....all flavors of barbeque sauce!
