light Brahmas and Ameraucanas breed discussion

I wasn't sure if my brahmas would be to big for my barred rock roo and my ameraucana chicks are bigger than my brahma chicks

Too big to live in the same pen? Not a problem--different size chickens usually live together with no trouble.

Too big for the rooster to mate with? Probably not. Even little bantam roosters often manage to mate with great big hens.

Thank you for answering I was trying to get some big hens for my barred rock because my hens were a bit small for him

Brahmas grow slowly, so the Ameraucanas will only be bigger at first- great breeds! This is what I mostly have - Brahmas, Ameraucanas and Silkies are my favorites!

I wasn't sure why the ameraucanas were bigger This is my first time raising them.

Post pics of the ameraucanas, they are most likely EEs. If you have enough space and enough hens it should be fine.
