So she’s getting some black in her tail feathers (quite a lot, it just hasn’t grown out yet) and some black flecks at the end of the wings.
Any suggestions what she might be crossed with?

Or... what she might be if not a Sussex in part at all?

Her now - she has a very wonky tail, poor girl. And her fine motor skills seem to be rather lacking, particularly when pecking food... aim is not very good.

Is it often that chooks have any kind of issues with things like this? From what I can see her wonky tail doesn’t mean much, she has always had it. She’s happy, healthy and plays a lot... just seems to have something small missing or confused in her little head.

Doesn’t matter, we love her anyway, just curious!

She's so gorgeous! I wouldn't worry about the wonky tail, it could fix itself or it might stay like that, either way it doesn't matter because she's still gorgeous just the same :)
For pecking, it could be possible that her eye sight isn't very good at close range, she has some slight brain damage or her beak might not be aligned properly making it hard to peck the food up. As long as she's eating enough it shouldn't be a problem either. To check her weight, feel the breast bone, it should have some muscle on either side of it.
All chooks are a little bit quirky in their own way, some more than others but all so precious :)

The book , "The Sussex Fowl" by Sharpe discusses a vertigo that Sussex can get.
Look up via a search engine ,the keywords : Lewis Family Farm Sussex Fowl Sharpe : . That should take you a nice PDF rendering of the book on their site. The info and cure is on book page 170.
I don't know how much this helps your bird since the Buff is not a Sussex.
Best,
Karen

She is such a sweetie, we love her nonetheless :)
Spends a lot of time back and forth to the feeder, I think because she doesn’t get as much at the same time as the others, but growing heaps and a big girl... so I think other than speed, I think she’s doing fine!
