She's so gorgeous! I wouldn't worry about the wonky tail, it could fix itself or it might stay like that, either way it doesn't matter because she's still gorgeous just the sameHer now - she has a very wonky tail, poor girl. And her fine motor skills seem to be rather lacking, particularly when pecking food... aim is not very good.
Is it often that chooks have any kind of issues with things like this? From what I can see her wonky tail doesn’t mean much, she has always had it. She’s happy, healthy and plays a lot... just seems to have something small missing or confused in her little head.
Doesn’t matter, we love her anyway, just curious!

She is such a sweetie, we love her nonethelessShe's so gorgeous! I wouldn't worry about the wonky tail, it could fix itself or it might stay like that, either way it doesn't matter because she's still gorgeous just the same
For pecking, it could be possible that her eye sight isn't very good at close range, she has some slight brain damage or her beak might not be aligned properly making it hard to peck the food up. As long as she's eating enough it shouldn't be a problem either. To check her weight, feel the breast bone, it should have some muscle on either side of it.
All chooks are a little bit quirky in their own way, some more than others but all so precious![]()
