I have an egg in a still air incubator that has a pale looking circle on the side (inside) that I saw when I candeld. The contents of the egg seem to have all moved and settled to the end where the air cell is. Could this be a blood ring or something else going on?

By day 7 you should be able to see well defined veins and the embryo as as dark spot amongst the veins. Sounds like you might have dead egg.

If there's a live embryo in there, it could be an air cell on the side of the egg. I've had that happen twice before.

Could there be two air cells? There is one on the fat end and then this odd spot.

It could be that the shell is thiner at that spot. If you look at an egg that is very porous the pores look lighter then the rest of the shell. Just a thought.
