Light or no?

if there is light then they will be more active during the night. though they will sleep when they want to, they will be able to move around more. with no light they cannot see and are not active at all

We have a small solar light that's outside the coop but shoots in towards the floor (through the wire). I put it in there just to make sure if one went down during the night they'd be able to get back up on the roost.
