Light roo, heavy hen

Both the hen and roo are Seramas, whenever we give them something like vegetables, egg, Etc. the hen ends up with most to all of it, even snaching it from the roosters mouth before he can eat it, hes lost weight, and the hen has gained, has anyone had something like this happen and what solutions you used.

If your rooster is truly loosing weight, you need to figure out why. Have you wormed your birds in the last year? Does he have any other symptoms of anything that might show illness?

As far as treats, if the hen is stealing all the goodies, then you need to offer some up to him away from her so he can get some for himself. Make sure he is on a good diet of flock raiser.
