Light Sussex Pair?

You didn't make a mistake - they're both cockerels - 3 week old pullets do not have any wattle growth and I see wattles on both of your chicks (plus combs on both that are too large for 3 week old pullet chicks).

Well overwhelming majority says cockerals so maybe in a few months you can tell me if they are a pair or both are cockerals. I have had Sussex birds before and at that age, those Sussex had large combs and they were both males. So I sold them to a friend of mine and she waited four months, sure enough both of them were boys.

They look like boys! But don't look back....It's so scary for me to sell at that age for any breed.....I need to never know if I sold a changeling!

No regrets ever. They probably would have been hawk food here anyway or kept in confinement until they got too big to be carried off. For me, no more white chickens, no more bantams. Or I might just open a hawk sanctuary!
