Light Sussex

They will go broody and make an excellent incubator! And I'm finding out they make excellent mothers too!

I purchased this light sussex hen from a breeder 3 months ago...and am new to heritage breeds. How old do you think she is?

Wow, those are some beautiful birds! If someone could dumb down how to post a photo I will post some of my babies from this year. I just sent the boys to gain some size at my moms (I can't have roosters) and have kept 3 girls for my backyard flock. If anyone can give me a rough estimate of when they could start laying that would be great.
Good to see some fellow Sussex fans and I hope to post photos soon!
