My lights/Coronations were fast growers. I should have had several butchered at 12-16 weeks but wanted to make sure I had selected the best cockerel. They did eat a lot but they are quite large and have a lot of breast meat. Maybe the strain I have is a different one than others have tried? They seem to be excellent dual purpose birds so far.

They were probably between 12 and 14 weeks old. They were in with a group of 17 roos I bought for (immediate) butcher.
