Hi all.

I have some 17-week old pullets that I picked up off of Craigslist about 10 days ago. Do they need any sort of light through the winter to get them the right amount of daylight to start laying when they should, or do I just let nature take its course?

Thanks in advance.

If it were me, i would let them be but not necessarily expect eggs until spring. I think everyone here has a little different opinion on that issue, but that's what i would do if i lived in a cold climate like yours.
