I was wondering when putting in the extra lighting to continue egg laying can it be a florecent light bulb, or does it need to be the other kind...not sure the name, but the ones that use more hydro....
. right now I have been using a florecent one. I have the light on for about two extra hours in the moring so they get about 13 hours of light.
Also I have a few hens that have not started laying yet and are 26 weeks old. Could it be due to the artifichule (sp.?) lighting. The hens are light sussex. My red sex-links have been laying fine.
Thanks
