Wow that breeder needs to do some serious culling, his photos show plenty of fowl with unacceptable leg colors(not yellow), The back arch should match the tail and neck arches, feathering looks pretty right and mostly tight.

Wow that breeder needs to do some serious culling, his photos show plenty of fowl with unacceptable leg colors(not yellow), The back arch should match the tail and neck arches, feathering looks pretty right and mostly tight.

Are you saying the legs aren't supposed to be yellow ?

Legs are supposed to be a deep rich yellow, sorry for the confusion and don't want to rain on your cuties coming out party! Just trying to be helpful in your breeding program going forward. At least the seller was honest enough to post pictures of his actual stock.

Combs and wattles are supposed to express in a strawberry off red coloration, still I could work with this stock!

I was just curious wanted to raise exotic Chickens maybe make a Lil change on the side. But I've really come to like this incubating thing . But I had to just stop myself when I brought some African goose eggs I've gone to far lol! My neighbors may kill me lol!

Australia is so far ahead of the US in either having maintained this breed or having brought them back from the brink. I am starting to think I'll just order from Ideal unless I see something to get excited over with Malays. Then secretly do my culling and tell my wife I saw a daylight coyote or something!
